Devine's win came from a few key players Floresville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kynedie Cruz, who had four aces and three digs. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Greeley Malone, who had four aces and three digs.
Devine was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive matchups.
Floresville's win bumped their record up to 25-13. As for Devine, their victory bumped their record up to 19-15.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Floresville has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 4.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Devine struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
