Volleyball Recap: Touchet Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Touchet lost against Dayton two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redhawks fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. While the Redhawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-21 in the first set.

Touchet took Dayton into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 25-11, 25-11, 25-27.

Touchet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Dayton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Touchet and Dayton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Redhawks will take on Liberty Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (359 vs. 110). Meanwhile, Dayton (ranked 242nd) will meet Oakesdale (ranked 46th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
