Softball Recap: Chilton County Tigers vs. Montgomery Catholic Knights

After only two runs in their last game, Chilton County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Montgomery Catholic on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 12-8 win over the Knights. Considering the Tigers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Brianna Goggins and Ishunti Brown did most of the damage at the plate: Goggins scored three runs while going 3-for-5, while Brown scored three runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Goggins has posted since back in March. Macey Pierce was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
