Softball Recap: Holy Innocents Episcopal Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Holy Innocents Episcopal extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 10-11. They came up short against the King's Ridge Christian Tigers, falling 7-1. The Golden Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for King's Ridge Christian, they pushed their record up to 13-8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

For King's Ridge Christian's part, Karina French spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sadie Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Fratesi, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

As of now, neither Holy Innocents Episcopal nor King's Ridge Christian have any future games scheduled.
