Softball Game Preview: Eldorado Sundevils vs. Rancho Rams

Eldorado is 0-9 against Rancho since March of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Sundevils are taking a road trip to square off against the Rams at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Eldorado fell victim to Sunrise Mountain and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 25-0 to the Miners.

Meanwhile, Rancho came up short against Canyon Springs on Thursday, falling 19-4.

Rancho saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layla Stout, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Brianda Palamores-Felix also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Rancho, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Eldorado might still be hurting after the 20-3 loss they got from Rancho when the teams last played back in March. Can the Sundevils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
