Soccer Recap: Newark's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Midlakes on Tuesday, Newark came back down to earth. The Reds fell 5-3 to the Batavia Blue Devils on Friday. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Newark couldn't quite close it out.

Newark's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8-1. As for Batavia, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Newark nor Batavia have any future games scheduled.
