Basketball Recap: Terrell Comes Up Short

After flying high against Corsicana last Friday, Terrell came back down to earth. The Terrell Tigers were dealt a 73-41 loss at the hands of the Crandall Pirates on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite the loss, Terrell still got an impressive performance from Aubree Tate, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Markeita Shaw, who put up six points.

Terrell's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Crandall, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

Terrell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-44 win against Ennis on the 20th. Crandall has also already played their next contest, a 37-27 loss against Midlothian Heritage on the 20th.
