There's no place like home for James Wood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warren County Wildcats on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Colonels in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: James Wood took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-10, 25-11.

Brenna Corbin paced James Wood's offense, picking up nine kills. Corbin got some help from Kylee Plumb and her 12 assists. Corbin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

James Wood's victory bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Warren County, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-13.

As of now, neither James Wood nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
