Volleyball Game Preview: Mount Vernon Bulldogs vs. Mt. Baker Mountaineers + How To Watch

Mount Vernon is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Mt. Baker a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Mount Vernon Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Mt. Baker Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Mount Vernon came up short against Bellingham and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Mt. Baker hadn't done well against Lakewood recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mountaineers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cougars.

Mount Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Mt. Baker, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-9-2 and their overall record up to 2-9-2.

Mount Vernon took their victory against Mt. Baker in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Mountaineers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
