Ludlowe is 9-1 against Staples since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons will face off against the Wreckers at 6:00 p.m.

Ludlowe is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Greenwich just ended the team's 16-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Cardinals.

The losing side was boosted by Sofia Cilano, who had 12 digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Staples had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Wolves. The Wreckers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 27th (when they won 3-0).

Ludlowe's loss dropped their record down to 20-3. As for Staples, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Ludlowe beat Staples 3-1 when the teams last played back in October. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
