Rice Lake has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Menomonie Mustangs. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Rice Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Menomonie, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Rice Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Menomonie, they will square off against Eau Claire North at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
