Basketball Recap: Maxwell Find Success

Maxwell won the last time they faced Brady, and Jenna Miller did her part to make sure it happened again. The Maxwell Wildcats snuck past the Brady Eagles with a 57-51 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Miller, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. Those 12 rebounds gave her a new career-high.

Despite the defeat, Brady saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kenlee Fattig posted 11 points and eight boards. Fattig has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Preslee Bartels also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Maxwell's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Brady, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Maxwell has already played their next game (against Sandhills Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brady didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-37 win against Loomis on the 23rd.
