Volleyball Recap: Portales Comes Up Short

Portales and Artesia squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Portales had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Portales' loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Artesia, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-6 record this season.

Portales does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Artesia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Hope Christian on the 15th.
