The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Bluejackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Akins almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine assists, while Gay shot 78% from the field to rack up 18 points and six assists. What's more, Gay posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in January. Malachi Ashford was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven assists.

Nicholas County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
