Basketball Game Preview: Highland Huskies vs. Deary Mustangs + How To Watch

Highland hasn't had much luck against Deary recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Highland's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so Deary's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Highland will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Logos, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Huskies snuck past the Knights with a 34-30 victory on Monday. The score was all tied up 17-17 at the break, but the Huskies were the better team in the second half.

Highland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hailey Click led the charge by putting up 14 points along with eight boards and five steals. That's the most points Click has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Alli Mae Moddrell, who put up eight points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks.

Meanwhile, Deary was able to grind out a solid win over Troy on Tuesday, taking the game 41-33. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Deary, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Highland skirted past Deary 32-30 in their previous matchup back in February. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
