Volleyball Recap: Irvine Takes a Loss

After flying high against El Modena last Wednesday, Irvine came back down to earth. The Vaqueros came up short against the Crean Lutheran Saints on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Vaqueros in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-5.

Irvine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Crean Lutheran, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Irvine will challenge Mission Viejo at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crean Lutheran, they will square off against Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
