Flag Football Recap: Jaslyne Coronado and Calleigh Panziera Pace Salinas Defense

Salinas lost against Carmel back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cowboys fell 21-13 to the Padres.

Although Salinas took the loss, they still got scores from Isabella Hernandez and Alissa Escutia.

Salinas didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaslyne Coronado and Calleigh Panziera.

Salinas' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. As for Carmel, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Salinas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-6 victory against Hollister on the 20th. As for Carmel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 19-14 loss against St. Francis on the 20th.
