Fossil Ridge has gone 9-0-1 against Poudre recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The SaberCats will host the Impalas at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Fossil Ridge and Boulder meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The SaberCats' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 2-0 shutout. That's two games straight that Fossil Ridge have won by exactly two goals.

Nick Machado and Adrian Attard-Velasco scored both of Fossil Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Poudre had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Norsemen.

Fossil Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-2. As for Poudre, their win bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Everything went Fossil Ridge's way against Poudre in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Fossil Ridge made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the SaberCats repeat their success, or do the Impalas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
