Guardian Angels Central Catholic's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Emma Cohee, who had 21 assists and four digs, and Riley Wegner, who had 12 digs and one assist. Cohee has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 33 times she's played.

Leading Pierce to victory were Josie Painter and Haley Scholting. Painter had 12 digs and five assists, while Scholting had six digs and two aces.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 24-3. As for Pierce, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-7.
