Pontotoc is a perfect 4-0 against Shannon since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Shannon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Pontotoc, who comes in off a win.

Pontotoc's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Houston 7-0. The high-scoring effort was just what Pontotoc needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Shannon didn't have quite enough to beat Vardaman on Thursday and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Shannon in their meetings with Vardaman: they've now lost five in a row.

The win got Pontotoc back to even at 2-2. As for Shannon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Everything went Pontotoc's way against Shannon when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Pontotoc made off with an 8-1 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
