Soccer Recap: Clinton Gets the Win

Clinton barely beat Lafayette the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Arrows never let the Commodores get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Saturday. Clinton's winning goal came courtesy of Kayla Jones.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lafayette, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Tupelo on the 8th. As for Lafayette, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Oxford on the 13th.
