Preview: Vermillion vs. Tea
Vermillion had trouble last week, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they take on Tea at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Vermillion, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-40, which was the final score in Vermillion's tilt against Madison. Vermillion were down by 0-33 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Tea put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 40-15 margin over Lennox.
Tea's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Vermillion's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll see if Tea's success rolls on or if Vermillion are able to steal their positive momentum.
