Clay-Battelle has gone a perfect 6-0 against Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cee Bees will be playing at home against the Lumberjacks at 5:00 p.m. Clay-Battelle has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Clay-Battelle is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs last Saturday, they were much more limited against Bridgeport on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to the Bulldogs.

Clay-Battelle saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was S Carpenter, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley). They put the hurt on Wirt County with a sharp 17-7 victory on Saturday.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Clay-Battelle, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-5.

Everything went Clay-Battelle's way against Valley when the teams last played back in March, as Clay-Battelle made off with a 16-1 victory. Do the Cee Bees have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lumberjacks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
