Soccer Game Preview: San Gabriel vs. Baldwin Park

The San Gabriel Matadors will venture away from home to square off against the Baldwin Park Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Gabriel will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

San Gabriel is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Glenn get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Wednesday. San Gabriel's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Their offense was hitting Glenn from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Niyah Davis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

While Baldwin Park didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-10-5), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Covina by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for Baldwin Park in their matchups with Covina: they've now won three in a row.
