Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

If University was feeling good fresh off their 53-21 takedown of Northwest on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harker Heights Knights on Saturday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

University's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Harker Heights, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Coming up, University will challenge Shoemaker at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.83 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Harker Heights, they will be playing at home against Ellison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
