Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Mcclarney, who rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Mcclarney is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Darrett, who gained 160 total yards and a touchdown.

Even though they lost, Evansville Reitz was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 202 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

With the loss, Evansville Reitz broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3. As for Martinsville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
