Football Game Preview: Dibble Demons vs. Community Christian Royals

The Dibble Demons are taking a road trip to face off against the Community Christian Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Community Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dibble, who comes in off a win.

Dibble took a 27-point loss the last time they faced off against Davis, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Demons slipped by the Wolves 28-27 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Demons, who have now won three contests in a row.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Tucker Skipper and Wyatt Malchaski. Skipper rushed for 51 yards and a pair of scores while Malchaski rushed for 184 yards. Those 51 rushing yards gave Skipper a new career-high.

Dibble was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 269 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, Community Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 27-7 to Beggs.

Dibble's record now sits at 3-1. As for Community Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Dibble couldn't quite finish off Community Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 14-12. Can the Demons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
