Football Game Preview: Webb Gauls vs. Anaheim Colonists + How To Watch

The Webb Gauls will face off against the Anaheim Colonists at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Webb will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Webb gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Silver Valley by a score of 26-18.

Mikey Pino produced another solid effort throwing for 308 yards and four touchdowns. His passing game has become a key predictor of Webb's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. A healthy portion of Pino's aerial production (106 yards to be exact) went to Jimmie Brown.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Anaheim's strategy against La Quinta on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Colonists blew the Aztecs out of the water with a 51-8 final score. The Colonists might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Anaheim's win came from a few key players Webb will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jacob Campos, who threw for 397 yards and five TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Joshua Eli Sanchez was Campos' top target, picking up 279 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Webb's record is now 7-2. As for Anaheim, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
