Basketball Game Preview: South Central Satellites vs. West Central Trojans

The South Central Satellites will face off against the West Central Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If West Central heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when South Central took over last week. The Satellites came out on top against Knox by a score of 43-33 on Tuesday.

South Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adisynn Kalinke, who went 5-for-10 en route to 12 points. Kalinke continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Samantha Marks was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, West Central hadn't done well against Tri-Township recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Trojans managed a 34-30 win over the Tigers.

South Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for West Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
