Basketball Recap: Walnut's Undefeated Season over After Six Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Artesia on Tuesday, Walnut came back down to earth. The Mustangs took a 66-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Villa Park Spartans on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Walnut fell to 5-1. As for Villa Park, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Walnut will face off against Eagle Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Villa Park, they will head out to challenge Dos Pueblos at 7:00 p.m. on December 5.
