Basketball Recap: Penquis Valley Find Success

Penquis Valley won the last time they faced Greenville and things went their way on Monday too. The Penquis Valley Patriots secured a 37-33 W over the Greenville Lakers. The Patriots didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Penquis Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Greenville, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penquis Valley will take on Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greenville, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Penobscot Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
