Softball Preview: Huntley Red Raiders vs. Cary-Grove Trojans
Huntley is 10-0 against Cary-Grove since May of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Huntley Red Raiders will look to defend their home field against the Cary-Grove Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Huntley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
In what's become a running theme this season, Huntley gave their fans yet another huge win in their second game on Saturday. They blew past Lincoln-Way East 17-5. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for one run.
Makayla Rasumussen looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks).
