Emmanuel Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Graceville Tigers. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered an 11-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Levi Parrish made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in earned runs (zero). He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Greengrass, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.

Graceville's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
