Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 20-6 to the Franklin Lightning. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Lightning this season, with their most recent loss being a 21-11 defeat back in April.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Franklin, they moved to 8-17 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lightning beat Roosevelt by a score of 20-6 on Monday.
