McDonogh 35 won against Eleanor McMain on Tuesday with 21 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Roneagles put the hurt on the Morris Jeff Pelicans with a sharp 21-11 win. The Roneagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by ten runs or more this season.

Steven Wade was a standout: he scored four runs and stole nine bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Naamon Landry was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

McDonogh 35 was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .583. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory (which was McDonogh 35's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Morris Jeff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, McDonogh 35 will venture away from home to square off against Landry at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Roneagles are facing the Buccaneers at the right time seeing as the Buccaneers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Morris Jeff, they will face off against Abramson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
