Basketball Recap: Dickson County Takes a Loss

Dickson County lost against Creek Wood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Dickson County Cougars and the Creek Wood Red Hawks didn't end well, with the Dickson County Cougars falling 60-42. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Dickson County still got an impressive performance from Keely Webb, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Coralee Grove, who had six points and five boards.

Dickson County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Creek Wood, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dickson County will take on Kenwood at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Creek Wood has already played their next contest (against Montgomery Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
