Volleyball Recap: Ella Orloff and Cayla Doescher Secure Win for Pecatonica

Pecatonica won the last time they faced Black Hawk and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings blew past the Warriors 3-0.

Pecatonica never let Black Hawk on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-9.

Leading Pecatonica to victory were Cayla Doescher and Ella Orloff. Doescher had six digs and three aces, while Orloff had 12 digs. That's the most aces Doescher has posted over her last three matches.

Pecatonica's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Black Hawk, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Pecatonica wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Monticello on the 25th. As for Black Hawk, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Argyle on the 25th.
