Marmaton Valley had won three straight games and Tyler Lord did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 50-0 win over the St. Paul Indians with plenty of help from Lord, who rushed for 190 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries, and also threw for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 17 rushing touchdowns on the season.
Marmaton Valley's leading receiver Todd Stevenson was Lord's top target yet again, picking up 106 receiving yards and one score. Stevenson showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 65 yards.
Marmaton Valley's record now sits at 7-1. As for St. Paul, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
As of now, neither Marmaton Valley nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
