Central Magnet won the last time they faced Cannon County and things went their way on Friday too. Central Magnet won by a run and slipped past the Cannon County Lions 8-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Central Magnet.

The team relied heavily on Sophia Croasdaile, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Megan Weber, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Central Magnet's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Central Magnet will head out on the road to face off against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cannon County, they will take on Grundy County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Grundy County's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
