Basketball Recap: Adrian Dosela Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat St. Johns

There's no place like home for Alchesay, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They took down the St. Johns Redskins 60-43 on Friday. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alchesay to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adrian Dosela, who posted 13 points and six steals. Dosela has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Truax, who had ten points.

Alchesay pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for St. Johns, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Coincidentally, Alchesay and St. Johns will both be playing Round Valley the next time they take the court. Alchesay will head out to face Round Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while St. Johns will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
