Winter Haven Christian won the last time they faced Candlelight Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Winter Haven Christian Warriors came out on top against the Candlelight Christian Academy Flames by a score of 43-35.

Despite the loss, Candlelight Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Skyler Taylor posted 16 points and five steals. That was a full 45.7% of Candlelight Christian Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row Taylor has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Winter Haven Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Candlelight Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Winter Haven Christian will head out to face off against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Winter Haven Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Candlelight Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
