Basketball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kimball played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Del Oro Golden Eagles 72-33. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-14.

Despite the loss, Kimball saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Matalie Floyd posted 12 points and five rebounds. Floyd is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Emma Coronado was another key player, putting up 12 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Kimball and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Kimball didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-22 victory against Pitman on the 2nd. As for Del Oro, they have also already played their next game, a 57-16 win against Yuba City on the 2nd.
