Legacy's win came from a few key players Southeast Career Tech will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alabama Nieves, who went 7 of 15 on her way to 20 points. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deshaya Hart, who put up ten points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.
Legacy pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Southeast Career Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Southeast Career Tech has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 28.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Legacy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
