Volleyball Recap: Shawsheen Valley Tech Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shawsheen Valley Tech can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs on Friday. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Old Rochester Regional can attribute much of their success to Kaitlyn Rodrigues, who had 15 digs and four aces. That's the most digs Rodrigues has posted over her last five matchups.

Shawsheen Valley Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Old Rochester Regional, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

Shawsheen Valley Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Old Rochester Regional, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Blackstone Valley RVT on the 4th.
