Basketball Recap: Argos Takes a Loss

Argos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Glenn Falcons 49-14. The contest marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ellie Bollenbacher was Argos' leading scorer, having posted five points. Alydiah Leed held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Glenn had a senior duo take command as Daelynn Nance posted six points and three steals and Addison Reese put up six points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rory Winchell, who earned seven points.

Argos' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Glenn, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Argos is taking a road trip to face off against Logansport at 10:00 a.m. on December 28th. Glenn and Fort Wayne Bishop Luers will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th.
