Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parsons). They blew past the Baxter Springs Lions 60-33 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their 22-point performance the match before.

Parsons' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8-1. As for Baxter Springs, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Parsons has already played their next game (against Pittsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Baxter Springs will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Mary's-Colgan at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
