Basketball Recap: Wings Academy Comes Up Short

Wings Academy played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through an 86-56 loss at the hands of the Eagle Academy Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Wings in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Wings Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was JJ ADDISON, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 14 points and five boards. ADDISON is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. DEMITRI LEWIS was another key player, putting up 14 points and seven rebounds.

Wings Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eagle Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
