Altoona came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fall Creek Crickets on Friday, sneaking past 7-5. For the Railroaders, this counts as revenge for the 10-7 win the Crickets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Altoona now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Fall Creek, their loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Altoona will host Osceola at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fall Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against West Salem on the 12th.
