For the second straight game, Caston will face off against Pioneer. The Comets will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Caston got the win against Pioneer by a conclusive 15-1. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Gavin Mollenkopf and Parker Zimpleman did most of the damage at the plate: Mollenkopf got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Zimpleman went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Zimpleman has posted since back in April. Tucker Woolever was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Caston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pioneer only managed four hits.

Caston's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Pioneer, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-10 record.

Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Caston hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .318. However, it's not like Pioneer struggles in that department as they've averaged .315. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
