Baseball Recap: Canyon Springs Comes Up Short at Home Against Eldorado

Canyon Springs unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Eldorado Firehawks by a score of 3-1 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pioneers have suffered since March 21, 2024.

Isaiah Rogers was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Eldorado now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Canyon Springs will face off against Pahrump Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eldorado, they will take on Cimarron-Memorial at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
